Headquarters and Portfolios of Mr. Noodle

Bush and the vultures circling

Hey there. I am taking a break now from my animation project. Believe it or not I am pretty excited about this project now. I wish I would have started it 5 weeks ago though. It’s funny, because I knew back then that I wouldn’t work on it until now. I really like the color combination I am using. Black, white, gray, brown and orange.

I think I mentioned it here before, but folks, orange is where it is at for me. I am obsessed with using the color orange anytime I can now. Why? I don’t know. I have been noticing orange when I can in advertisements, on the web, riding on the bus and watching TV. It’s a game for me, I try to find as much orange as I can. Start looking for orange yourself and tell me what you discover. I’m telling you, the answers for all of the Noodle mysteries lies in the color orange. When I redesign this here web site you can bet that it is going to be an orgy of orange.

I stayed home to work on my school projects instead of going in to school today. I think that I got more done today doing it that way. I am using the program Adobe Illustrator 9 here and I prefer that actually to the school which is using version 10. 9 works better for me. The school does have Flash MX which I am going to have to use to get my animation moving, but I think that for the rest of the day I can draw the elements here and go in to school tomorrow morning.

Have I mentioned that I am ready for the term to be over?

I am listening to Blonde Redhead now and loving it. I think the CD I am listening to is “Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons”. It’s copied on the same CD with the self titled album. Good stuff. K and I decided today that we are just going to listen to all of our music on the computer. The speakers we have hooked up now sound quite a bit better than our stereo in the front room.

Today was the funeral ceremony for President Reagan. I haven’t been listening or watching the news that closely this week but I hear that they are really going a bit overboard with all of the Ronald Reagan coverage. It seemed like they said something about the funeral every five minutes on NPR today while I was doing my school work. Alright already, national week of mourning is over lets get on with our lives now people.

I was reprimanded the other day for appearing to be a Reagan supporter in one of my posts last week. I’m definitely not anywhere near a conservative way of thinking. I was just saying that when I was a kid I remember thinking how Presidential Reagan seemed. I looked up to him as a kid the way that kids look up to astronauts, firemen and policemen. I think my whole deal with Reagan is more of a remember when we were kids and how innocent everything was thought, and not a political endorsement for the republicans. I think it is a shame that an old man dying a sad death from alzheimers is going to be used to try to help Bush’s campaign. Vultures. The sick thing is that several people in the general public are totally going to fall for it.

Okay, I have to get back to work now. I’m getting sidetracked.
